Tenon Labs, LLC

We solve problems through technology, for good people.

Tenon Labs is a small company with a simple purpose: find the gaps that leave good people without the tools they need, and build the piece that fills them. For counties, communities, neighborhoods, and families.

Our why: bringing people home.

Mission · Values · Vision

Built to bring people home.

The overdue hiker. The child who wandered from the campsite. The hunter who never made it back to the truck. Someone is out there looking for them: a county team, a ranger, a volunteer who left dinner on the table. Tenon Labs exists to put better tools in their hands. Our faith shapes how we treat people. Our work is how we show it.

Mission

Never quit. One team, one fight.

We build technology for the communities, search and rescue teams, and forest and park rangers who go out after the lost. No search is too small, no terrain too big, and we don't stop until the person is found.

Values

People above all.

The well-being and growth of our team, our partners, and the communities we serve come before any number on a spreadsheet. We are transparent and honest with the agencies who trust us, and the human element stays at the core of every decision.

Vision

The tool they reach for first.

When someone goes missing on public land, we want every ranger, deputy and volunteer to have Tenon Labs in the truck. Built from real-world, hands-on experience, and setting a new benchmark for how fast a lost person comes home.

The name

A tenon fills the gap and carries the load.

In a good joint, the tenon is cut to fit the exact gap it is meant to fill. Once it's in, it disappears into the work and holds for generations.

That is what we do. When a gap opens between a problem and the people responsible for it, a search that takes too long, a team without the right tool, a job nobody has built for yet, we build the custom piece that fills it. No off-the-shelf approximations. Cut to fit, built to hold.

How we work

Start with the gap. End with something that holds.

We don't sell a platform and go looking for problems to point it at. We start in the field, with the people who have the problem.

Find the gap

We listen to the rangers, deputies, volunteers and families who live with the problem, and find where the tools fall short.

Build with them

The people who will use it are in the room from the first sketch. We build alongside them, not for them.

Cut to fit

Custom to the job and the budget. No off-the-shelf approximations, no features nobody asked for.

Hold under load

Tested in the field, supported after delivery, and ours to stand behind on the worst day.

Who we serve

The people who go out after the lost.

Search & rescueCounty teams, volunteer units, and drone programs.
National parks & forestsPark rangers and Forest Service crews responsible for millions of acres.
Sheriffs & emergency managementThe agencies that own the search when a call comes in.
Fire & EMSThe first on scene, with the least information.
CommunitiesThe families waiting on the other end of the call.
What we build

Every product fills a gap.

Each one starts with a person who needs help and the person who goes to find them. The details stay with our partners.

Project Argus Field trials next

Autonomous drones for search and rescue teams. A system that launches from a single case and gives the team a faster way to find the person.

BlueK9 In development

The same capability on a single drone. Built for the officers and rangers who patrol our parks, forests and communities. Its page is coming later.

For investors & partners

Join us early.

We're opening conversations with a small group of early partners who share the mission. If serving the public through technology is something you want to back, we'd like to meet.

A signed NDA is required before any meeting or product information. We'll send it with our reply.
